Epicyclic train sample

In this problem, the gear number 2 is rotating 20 rpm. The number of turns of the arm is required. In the process, the number of turns of gears 3 and 4 were also found.

Chapter 3 on velocity discusses three methods of velocity analysis, the method of resolution and composition of vector, the method of instant centers, and the method of relative velocity. Chapter 4 covers acceleration analysis including acceleration of bodies with rolling contact and Coriolis acceleration component. The whole of Part II which comprises 75% of the book contains sample problems on kinematics of machines and machine components and their solutions. The book is entirely presented in Filipino language.

Although the book is in Filipino, English versions of the solutions are now being made available. The uploaded problems and solutions are listed below. New posts are coming each week.
